The sunsets get the photos — but the island's after-dark energy lives in Fira, and it peaks at Enigma. Here's where the night actually happens.
When does the night start?
Dinner in Santorini runs late, so nightlife gets going after 23:00 and peaks well past midnight. Doors at Enigma open 21:30 and the floor stays full until 5am — weekends are busiest.
Where to go in Fira
The main square and the lanes just north of it are the nightlife core. The longest-running and best-known club is Enigma, about 50 metres north of the square:
- Two floors — an air-conditioned indoor hall and an open-air terrace under the stars.
- Three bars — cocktails and shisha till close.
- The sound — RnB, Hip-Hop, Afrobeat and Reggaeton, not just commercial house.
- VIP section — private booths and bottle service if you want to make a night of it.
Tips for a great night out in Santorini
Dress smart. Fira clubs run a smart/elegant code — skip the beachwear and flip-flops.
Bring ID. Venues are strictly 18+ with valid photo ID.
